Job Title: Commission-based Sales Representative – Lonestar Dads
Job Description:
Lonestar Dads, a community-focused organization, is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Commission-based Sales Representatives. We currently have openings for four salespersons, one for each of our four chapters. This is a commission-only position, where successful candidates will have the opportunity to build a book of business and earn a 20% recurring commission on each customer they bring in.
You will be selling the Supporting Partner Service Package
Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell the Supporting Partner program, Lonestar Dads’ advertising package designed for local service-based businesses.
- Identify potential clients and engage in active prospecting to generate leads and new business opportunities.
- Present the benefits and value proposition of the Supporting Partner program to potential clients, emphasizing the exposure and reach they will gain through our targeted audience.
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and commitment to the role, treating it as a full-time position.
Work remotely from home, managing your own schedule and priorities effectively. - Collaborate with the local chamber of commerce and networking groups by actively participating in events and leveraging opportunities to promote Lonestar Dads’ offerings.
- Utilize provided sales training resources via weekly Zoom sessions to enhance selling skills and stay up-to-date with product knowledge.
- Introduce clients to Francis, our dedicated account manager, who will become the main point of contact for ongoing customer support once clients sign up.
Requirements:
- Must be a solid “hunter”. Leads are not provided, you have to go and find the businesses that have never heard of us and introduce them to Lonestar Dads.
- Proven track record in sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and build relationships with potential clients.
- Self-motivated and driven, capable of working independently and managing time efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Access to reliable internet connection and appropriate technology for remote work.
- Full-time commitment to the role, dedicating sufficient time and effort to generate new business.
- Willingness to join local chamber of commerce and networking groups, with expenses covered by Lonestar Dads.
- Comfortable with remote collaboration and utilizing digital tools for sales activities.
- Prior experience in the advertising or marketing industry is a plus.
